Yes! Our kids classes are ages 4-13. Most of our teens begin to transfer to adult classes at their comfort level. Our adult classes are adaptable to ANY one person no matter age, injuries, fitness level or disabilities.
YES! We have women of all ages, shapes, sizes, experience, and fitness levels in all of our classes. In fact, our male to female ratio is quite often 50/50 in all classes. Our Beginner's Kickboxing instructor is Mrs. Lesley Shelton. Please see her short bio in our staff page.
Absolutely. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu does not have any striking in class and is interactive training with partners. Muay Thai (kickboxing) is drilled similarly with partners and on punching bags. Our coaches do a great job recognizing students comfort levels and classes can be made to be ZERO contact and still receive the full benefits training. Sparring is only done by experienced students and always optional.
Newer members are paired with partners they are familiar and comfortable with and/or experienced members to make sure you get the most out of your training. Our primary focus at Trinity is self-defense. Our second focus is to have FUN!!!
Fortunately you are in luck! We hold all of our competitors to extremely high standards. We are martial artist first. We are very proud of the culture created here at Trinity. We are a FAMILY Martial Arts gym. Please see our Student Rules and our CODE OF CONDUCT policies for members and competitors. We have a ZERO tolerance atmosphere for behavior not appropriate for families.
